Water can be a powerful attraction to tenants, particularly when there’s a lot of it all together, such as in a pool or an ocean.
Better yet, how about a pool and an ocean?
That’s an overriding appeal of condo 208-B at Shipwatch Villas on the Isle of Palms. The second floor property is for lease for a year at $3,150 a month. It can either be rented month to month or on a long-term lease, says owner Sally Muhlig, property manager of Coastalina Realty. Electric cost, water bill, cable service and Internet connection are included in the rent. Meanwhile, the condo is fully furnished, she says.
According to the rental listing, the owner is willing to entertain all offers.
Shipwatch Villas is at 7600 Palmetto Blvd. in Wild Dunes, near the eastern tip of the Isle of Palms. The 1,322-square-foot condo dates to 1984.
Interior highlights of the single-floor residence include three bedrooms, three baths, living room-dining room combination, family room with fireplace, wet bar and laundry with washer and dryer.
The kitchen sports an electric cooktop stove, refrigerator and dishwasher.
What makes the unit stand out are the sights. Muhlig describes it this way in her listing, “Imagine waking up in the morning and having your coffee overlooking the ocean and a saltwater pool.”
The condo is close to an elevator for the building, which is a convenience from climbing stairs. It is near the swimming pool and an adjacent kiddie pool.
Wild Dunes also has scores of amenities including swimming facilities, tennis, golf, marina, boat ramp and a play park.
“Enjoy all the pleasures of living in paradise on the Isle of Palms in the private resort of Wild Dunes,” Muhlig says.
The condo is on one of the lower floors at Shipwatch Villas. From the mainland, take U.S. Highway 17 in Mount Pleasant and turn right on the Isle of Palms connector. Follow the connector onto the island and turn left on Palm Boulevard. Continue to the Wild Dunes entrance off 46th Avenue. Once through the gate, steer right on Palmetto Boulevard. Proceed about two miles, and Shipwatch Villas is on the right. Ahead is 7600 208-B Palmetto Blvd.
