1081 Ambassador Way — Four-bedroom rental home in posh Mount Pleasant neighborhood provides tenants with country club perks

A manicured lawn and long front porch highlight 1081 Ambassador Way, which is for lease in Snee Farm (Provided).

Sometimes, renting a house in a high-end community can pay dividends in regards to the neighborhood’s amenities.

The lease holder may be entitled to hang out by the swimming pool, line up tee times for golf or play a few matches of tennis.

That’s all possible at 1081 Ambassador Way, a comfortable brick home for rent in the established Snee Farm subdivision east of the Cooper.

According to Jim Ullrich who is handling the lease, the Snee Farm neighborhood club “is available to members, giving access to pools, tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course.”

Located on the community’s northern edge, the 2,186-square-foot brick home provides more-than-adequate space for parents and kids while staying sufficiently cozy for a couple or individual.

The four bedroom, two bath property can be leased for $2,000 a month.

Ullrich describes 1081 Ambassador Way as a “beautiful home in the desirable neighborhood of Snee Farm.” The property can be considered centrally located. Towne Centre shopping plaza stands five minutes away while the beach at Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island amounts to a 10-minute drive.

In its design features, the home boasts a great room with decorative fireplace and vaulted tongue-and-groove ceiling. Ullrich dubs the kitchen as efficient and spacious. Another worthy feature is the master bedroom, which includes a walk-in closet and full bath, he says.

The exterior offers a few highlights, too. According to Ullrich, “The home sits on a large yard in a quiet cul de sac and is a great location to raise a family.”

An attached two car garage serves up enough extra space for a workshop area, he says.

The house sits closer to the side entrance to Snee Farm off Whipple Road than the front ingress via U.S. Highway 17 North. Heading north, cross the Ravenel Bridge and stay left onto Highway 17. Turn left at the second traffic light on Mathis Ferry Road. Follow Mathis Ferry through its four roundabouts and veer left on Whipple Road. Take Whipple for nearly a mile and turn right on Indigo Cut into the neighborhood. Make an immediate left on Law Lane, then turn left at the traffic circle on Governor’s Road. Take the first right on Loyalist Lane. Cross over Plantation Lane, where the road becomes Ambassador Way. Ahead is 1081 Ambassador Way.

An alternate route would be to follow Highway 17 through town, passing the Interstate 526 overpass and the Isle of Palms connector road. Turn left on Snee Farm Parkway. Steer left at the traffic circle on Farm Quarter Road and then turn right on Deleisseline Boulevard. Turn right on Governor’s Road to Loyalist and then to Ambassador Way.
