The Dremel MICRO Model 8050 Rotary Tool that is being recalled.

Michelin is recalling around 104,000 BF Goodrich tires used for light trucks and recreational vehicles because the sidewalls can rupture under severe use. The tiremaker says no injuries or deaths have been reported.

Michelin North America says the recall involves several types of tires made in 2014 and 2015 and sold in the U.S. They are used on commercial trucks; full-size, heavy-duty vans; small RVs; and some 1-ton pickups. Michelin will send letters to affected customers, telling them how the tires can be replaced at no charge.

The recall involves the Dremel MICRO Model 8050 Rotary Tool with date codes 407 through 505. The model number and date codes are on the nameplate, which is on the side opposite the Dremel logo. They were sold at Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Menards and other home-improvement, hardware and major retailers and online including amazon.com July 2014-May 2015. About 93,000 were sold in the U.S.

The circuit board can overheat and melt the enclosure, presenting a burn risk. Also, some tools may lose their speed control changing to high speed in use, turn on by themselves, or may not turn off, posing an injury hazard. Details: 855-866-1291 or go to www.dremel.com.

The recall covers all Madewell Sightseer sandals from the spring 2015 collection sold at Madewell stores and online from February- July 2015. The style number is on the sticker outside. Sandals with these 10 style numbers and names in all sizes are being recalled: C0275 Sightseer Knotted Slide; C0276 Sightseer T-Strap Thong Sandal in Black Leather; C0277 Sightseer T-Strap Thong Sandal in Metallic Colorblock; C0278 Sightseer Buckle Gladiator; C0279 Sightseer Slide; C1105 Sightseer Crisscross; C5893 Sightseer T-Strap Toe-Loop; C5895 Sightseer Ankle-Wrap Sandal in Shiny Silver; C5897 Sightseer Lace-Up; C6090 Sightseer Ankle-Wrap Sandal in Metallic Sand.

The metal shank can dislodge and break through bottom of the outsole, posing a fall hazard.

The recalled Scag Liberty-Z zero-turn lawn mowers include model SZL48-22KT with serial numbers K7100001 through K7102353 and model SZL52-24KT with serial numbers K7200001 through K7202020. They were sold at Scag Power Equipment authorized dealers October 2014-May 2015.

Recalled SubstiTUBE IS T8 LED lamps have model number 73312-1 or 73315-1 on the label. They were sold at Osram Sylvania industrial/commercial distributors December 2014 to May 2015. The lamps can overheat and melt. Details: 877-423-3772 or www.sylvania.com.

This recall involves model year 2015 Trek 9.8 Superfly FS SL, X1 and XT bicycles equipped with Bontrager Approved Carbon seatposts. They have a serial number ending in J or K on the bottom of the bicycle frame. Superfly FS, X1 or XT is printed on the bicycle’s top tube. Trek is printed on the frame downtube. “Bontrager Carbon” is printed on the seatpost. They were sold at bike stores nationwide from September 2014-July.

The seatpost can crack and break, posing a fall hazard.
