Some Mean Green cleaning products that came in white plastic spray bottles and white or green plastic containers are being recalled. The words “Mean Green Super Strength Cleaner & Degreaser” or “Mean Green Industrial Strength Cleaner & Degreaser” are on a label on the front and the UPC number is on the back.

The recall involves products with date codes 4225, 4226, 4227, 4228, 4229 and 4230.

The recalled Mean Green units include: Super Strength Spray 20-oz. with UPC 720547001208; Super Strength Spray 40-oz. with 720547001406; Super Strength 128-oz. with UPC 720547001017; and Industrial Strength 128-oz. with UPC 720547001024.

They were sold at Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Wal-Mart and smaller retailers August-November 2014.

Sunbeam is recalling about 34,000 Holmes-branded space heaters because they can spray hot oil and possibly cause household damage or injuries.

The plug-in heater is filled with oil. The Consumer Product Safety Commission said Sunbeam received about 40 reports of hot oil spraying out and causing property damage. The heaters were sold at Target and smaller stores between August and November for about $50. They are black or white and about 23 inches tall. They have model HOH3000 or HOH3000B on a label on the bottom and a code ranging from G192 through G298 on the plug. Details: 1.usa.gov/15WvrSw.
