Patriots Point Development Authority will unveil its $9.5 million spending plan for the new year when it meets today at 9:30 a.m.

Authority Director Mac Burdette said the proposed budget is about $300,000 more than the current outlay, but the authority plans to spend only about $8.6 million during the 2012-2013 budget year.

The rest will go into savings, he said.

The authority is also expected to go into a closed-door session to hear about a master plan being developed for 36 developable acres near the ticket booth, options for the submarine Clamagore and a possible partnership with another organization to use some of the authority’s restricted property.
