North Charleston heating, air-conditioning business is sold

North Charleston-based LimRic Plumbing, Heating & Air has finalized its fourth business acquisition. Provided

One North Charleston-based heating and air-conditioning businesses is buying another.

LimRic Plumbing, Heating & Air announced Tuesday that it has purchased Air Plus Heating & Air.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

The acquired company will take the LimRic name and operate from its new owner's offices on Dorchester Road.

“This acquisition will enable us to expand our reach and presence in the Lowcountry, while still maintaining our standards of exceptional customer service, high level of professionalism and dedication to integrity,” LimRic owner David Miles said in a written statement. “We can ensure Air Plus’ dedicated customers that they will continue to receive the high level of attention and satisfaction that they have become accustomed to, while now having access to LimRic’s outstanding plumbing services.” 

The company said all existing service plans from the acquired business will be honored under the ownership change. 

AirPlus was formed in 2003, according to its website.

The deal is the fourth acquisition for LimRic, which said it and the other  companies it has bought have been operating in the Charleston area for more than 50 years.
