Job seekers can check out more than 55 employers Wednesday at the Charleston Area Job Fair at The Citadel's Johnson Hagood Stadium.
High-school students are invited to check out summer jobs from 10 a.m. to noon. Everybody is invited from 1 to 3 p.m. Employers will set up in the stadium on the first floor of the National Guard Readiness Center.
More than 55 employers are expected, including construction, restaurants, hotels, health care, manufacturing, information technology and law enforcement. Openings include both summer jobs and permanent positions.
The event is sponsored by the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association, Charleston Area Hospitality Association and Operation Palmetto Employment.
The stadium is at 66 Hagood Ave.
