Gamecock star Connor Shaw to visit fans in North Charleston this weekend

Connor Shaw is making time for his fans this weekend after finishing his final season as the starting quarterback for the University of South Carolina.

The football player will meet fans and sign autographs from 5-7 p.m. Friday and 12-3 p.m. Saturday at Fan Zone in North Charleston Tanger Outlet Center.

Autographs are $15 for fans who bring their own items to be signed by the Gamecock player. Autographs on footballs, helmets and prints are free if the items are purchased at Fan Zone Friday. Cameras are welcome, but those who want to snap a shot with Shaw will have to get his entourage's approval beforehand, according to Fan Zone's Facebook page.

The New Year's Day game was the bookend of his college football career, but USC coach Steve Spurrier has said he expects to see Shaw playing in the NFL.
