Previously, he was coastal division executive for First Citizens Bank & Trust. He has a bachelor’s degree in history from the College of Charleston.
Matt Henderson has joined Blue Max Materials as manager of its Charleston division. Previously, he was a sales associate for Fieldstone Center of Charleston on Johns Island. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Denison University and has more than 16 years of experience in the hardscape industry.
Chris Stowers has joined The Winkler Group of Mount Pleasant as a senior campaign consultant. He has about 20 years of fundraising industry experience. Previously, he was senior vice president of philanthropy for the YMCA of Middle Tennessee. He has a bachelor’s degree in communication stu-dies from the University of Florida and a master’s in public health from Emory University.
Elaine Worzala has been named associate dean of the College of Charleston School of Business and executive director of the school’s Carter Real Estate Center. Previously, she was a professor of real estate and director of the Carter Center. She has a master’s degree in real estate appraisal and investment analysis and a doctorate in real estate and urban land economics, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Also, William Hassett has joined the college as director at the Carter Center. He has 30 years of real estate industry experience, and previously he was CEO for The Nelson Companies in Boston. He has a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a degree from Harvard Business School.
Kingman Hodgkiss has joined Meridian Energy & Environment LLC as an engineer-in-training. Previously, he was with Design South Professionals. He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Clemson University.
