Kevin Brookes has been promoted to home loans manager and assistant vice president of Bank of America Home Loans for the Charleston market. He has 17 years of mortgage industry experience. He has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Radford University.

John Brunski has joined Hamby Catering & Events as executive chef. Previously, he was culinary manager for Marriott International and its test kitchens for about 15 years. He has an associate degree in culinary arts from Harrisburg Area Community College.

Cloyes “Red” Hoover has joined ManTech International Corp. as vice president of its engineering and technical services division in Charleston. He will be primarily responsible for supporting the firm’s customers in the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic and the Naval Sea Systems Command. Previously, he was in the Navy for 27 years. He has bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in physics from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Dr. Kenny Zamora has joined Coastal Kids Dental & Braces as a pediatric dentist. He has a bachelor’s degree in biology with an emphasis in human biology from Boise State University and a dentistry degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed a pediatric dental residency at the University of Southern California.

Randall Patrick has joined Vaughn & Melton Consulting Engineers Inc. as office manager and head of business development in the Knoxville, Tenn.-based firm’s new North Charleston location. He has more than 20 years of civil engineering experience and has worked in the private and public sectors.

Adrian Cain has been named director of philanthropic services at Charleston-based Knowledge Capital Group, with a focus on providing major gift fundraising and quantitatively based annual fund consulting services to nonprofit organizations. Previously, he was director of institutional advancement at the South Carolina Aquarium.

Christie R. Holderness has been named district manager of the St. Andrews Public Service District. She has more than 17 years of managerial experience and served as a district commissioner for 12 years. She has a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston.

Dr. R. Christopher Brooker has joined Roper St. Francis Physician Partners’ Lowcountry Hand Group. He is board certified and practices the full range of hand surgery and upper extremity care. He has a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed a residency at Greenville Hospital System.

Randy H. Helmly has joined the Charleston law firm of Luzuriaga Mims LLP as an associate attorney, His practice is primarily dedicated to defending workers compensation claims. He has a bachelor’s degree from Wofford College and a law degree from Charleston School of Law. Previously, he was with a firm in Greenville.

Nicole Williams, Lee Hilton and Jessica Lovins have been promoted at Charleston-based WINGS for kids.

Williams is program director at North Charleston Elementary School. Previously, she was a program assistant.

Hilton is program director at Memminger Elementary School. Previously, she was director of behavior management.

Lovins is program director at James Simons Elementary School. Previously, she was a behavior specialist.

Brien Beidler has been named director of the bindery at the Charleston Library Society’srecently established Dorothy the Bookbinder’s Bindery and Archival Lab. He oversees conservation, teaches classes on the book arts and provides rebinding services to the society’s membership.

Norm Jenness has joined Carolina One Real Estate as an agent based in the Coleman Boulevard office in Mount Pleasant. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The Citadel, and he has 16 years of retail industry experience with Bi-Lo and Blockbuster Video.

Elyse Chubb has joined the Charleston office of Colliers International as a brokerage associate in the retail services group. She has a bachelor’s degree in international business and an emphasis in real estate from the College of Charleston.
