Hoyle

Bronwyn Lurkin has been promoted to principal ar- chitect at Herlong & Associates. She has a bachelor’s degree in historical preservation from Connecticut University and a master’s in architecture from Syracuse University.

Robyn Sportsman has joined Glasspro as an auto-glass technician. He has more than 20 years of auto-glass industry experience.

Jeff Fleming has been named vice president and Summerville city executive at CresCom Bank. Previously, he was vice president and business services officer at BB&T. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Lander University.

Kevin Scoggin has been named to the new position of chief operating officer at Summerville Medical Center. Previously, he was associate chief operating officer at HCA’s Kingwood Medical Center in Texas. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University and a master’s in health care administration from Trinity University.

T. David Hoyle, James W. Ledlie and Lance Oliver have been named members of Mount Pleasant-based Motley Rice LLC.

Hoyle focuses his practice on complex personal injury cases as well as wrongful death cases. He is a graduate of Wofford College and the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Ledlie focuses on occupational disease, worker safety, products liability, consumer fraud and complex litigation. He has a bachelor’s degree from Wofford College and a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Oliver focuses on class-action cases, mass torts and other complex litigation. He has a bachelor’s degree from Samford University and a law degree from Duke Law School.

Janie Lauve has joined People Against Rape as executive director. She has more than 20 years of executive management experience with nonprofit organizations. Previously, she was vice pres-ident of community initiatives for the Lowcountry Food Bank. She has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Greg Slempa has joined Delta Pharmacy as a floating pharmacist between its locations.

Paul Franklin Smith and Paul Blake Lalli have joined Carolina One Real Estate as agents.

Smith is based in the Main Street office in Summerville. He has a bachelor’s degree in information systems management from Clemson University.

Lalli is based in the Coleman Boulevard office in Mount Pleasant. He has more than 23 years of experience in the information technology industry. Previously, he was a corporate IT manager for Verizon Wireless.

Tony Bland has joined the Century 21 Properties Plus Sum-merville office. He is retired from the Army and was with the Charleston Police Department for seven years.

Seanaree King has joined Keller Williams Charleston Market Center as an agent. She has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience.

Dr. Samantha Nelson has joined the surgery unit at the Charleston Veterinary Referral Center. She has experience with cranial cruciate ligament injury in dogs and specializes in trauma, oncology and minimally invasive procedures. Previously, she was a staff surgeon at the Veterinary Specialists of Western New York. She has a degree in veterinary medicine from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.
