Grant Scurry

Grant Scurry has joined First Citizens as retail sales manager based in the bank’s Folly Road branch on James Island. Previously, he was a branch manager with SunTrust Bank. He has a bachelor’s degree from Lander University.

John D. Dalton has been named principal financial officer and principal accounting officer of Tidelands Bancshares Inc., the owner of Tidelands Bank. He will continue in his previous role as vice president and controller of the holding company and the Mount Pleasant-based bank. In his new role, he succeeds Thomas H. Lyles, who continues as president and chief executive officer of the holding company and bank.

Jimmy Bailey has joined the Kiawah Island Community Association as chief operating officer.

Previously, he was with the Daniel Island Property Owners Association.

Bart Bodkin has joined Hill Construction as a project manager. He has more than 10 years of construction industry experience. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clemson University.

Christina Van Slambrook has joined the Charleston Regional Development Alliance as manager of global marketing. Previously, she was a marketing associate with Ebix in Atlanta. She has a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University.

Roseanne D. Jordan has been named assistant head of school of Mason Preparatory School. She has a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and a master’s degree in education from Southern Wesleyan University.

Dr. Kenneth Warrick has joined the Dermatology and Laser Center of Charleston in West Ashley as a dermatologist. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the College of Charleston and a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Previously, he worked at dermatology centers in Virginia, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Dr. Katherine Seawright has joined Roper St. Francis Physician Partners’ Northbridge Family Practice in West Ashley. She is board-certified in family medicine and has a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Jessica Morse has joined Kiawah Island Golf Resort focusing on group sales in the mid-Atlantic market. Previously, she worked in Atlanta as metro market sales manager representing nine Starwood Hotels and Resorts properties. She has bachelor’s degree in communications from Elon University.

William O. Sweeny IV has joined Altman & Coker LLC as an associate attorney. His practice focuses on civil litigation. Previously, he was with the S.C. Department of Revenue. He has a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and a master’s degree in business administration and a law degree from the University of South Carolina.

Darlene Zimmerman, Frances Bramlett, Laura Faulders and Lori Tuttle have been promoted at The Citadel Foundation. Zimmerman is assistant director of business operations. Bramlett is vice president, while remaining director of donor relations. Faulders is director of class reunion campaigns. Tuttle is interim director of annual giving.

Mark Mattison and Simons Johnson have been named shareholders and principals of Colliers International. They are based in the firm’s Charleston office.

Mattison specializes in office brokerage and has experience in investment sales. He has more than 10 years of commercial real estate experience.

Johnson specializes in industrial and office brokerage, focusing on corporate tenant representation. He has been with the firm since 2005.

Christopher Karle and Jennifer Shirley have joined Immedion, based in the Greenville company’s North Charleston data center.

Karle is general manager. Previously, he was with CenturyLink for more than 20 years.

Shirley is inside sales executive. Previously, she was a staffing consultant for AppleOne Employment. She has a bachelor’s degree in merchandising from Florida State University.
