Christine Majernik and Jenara Noel have joined SIB Development & Consulting’s Charleston office.

Majernik is special projects coordinator. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia College & State University.

Noel is a staff accountant. Previously, she was with Johnson & Johnson. She has a master’s degree in business administration from The Citadel.

Cassandra Foster has been named assistant to the dean of the Graduate School at the College of Charleston. Previously, she was assistant to the dean for the college’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She has a bachelor’s degree in communication from George Mason University.

Wesley D. Linker has joined Stantec’s North Charleston office as a civil engineer in the urban development practice. He has 10 years of industry experience. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Kirby Smith has joined Parkwood Pediatric Group based in the Daniel Island and West Ashley offices. Previously, he was with a Summerville pediatric practice. He has a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Gettysburg College and a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed a residency at MUSC.

Brandon Floyd, Kevin Nielson, Maria Lewandowski and Jessica Hobbs have joined Tom McQueeney State Farm Insurance as sales associates at the agency’s new James Island office.

John W. Farrell has joined Buist Byars & Taylor LLC as an associate attorney in the firm’s Mount Pleasant office. His practice areas include litigation and transactional matters related to real estate and business. He has a bachelor’s degree from Limestone College and a law degree from Michigan State University College of Law.

Michael D. Bryan and Julius H. “Sam” Hines have joined the Charleston office of K&L Gates LLP as partners.

Bryan is in the corporate and merger and acquisitions practice. Previously, he was with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, where he chaired the firm’s sustainable energy group. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Kentucky and a law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law.

Hines is with the commercial disputes practice. Previously, he was with the admiralty and maritime group at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice LLP. He has a bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary, a master’s degree from the University of Virginia and a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Scott Ziegler has joined Rawle Murdy as senior account director in the brand leadership department. He has more than 35 years of marketing and communications experience. Previously, he was founder of Destination Demand Marketing and a partner in The Leslie Agency.

Matt Snipes has joined TD Bank as a mortgage loan officer specializing in construction and jumbo loans. He has more than 13 years of mortgage industry experience. Previously, he was with PrimeLending. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the College of Charleston.

Wayne Green and Janis Flodin have joined Prudential Southern Coast Real Estate as agents. Green previously was co-owner of Exit Lowcountry. Flodin has been a partner with Waypointe General Contracting.

Scott Roule has joined Caviar & Bananas as executive chef responsible for all culinary operations of both locations and its Gourmet-to-Go catering service.

He has a degree from the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts, and he has 20 years of culinary industry experience. Previously he was a corporate executive chef with a restaurant group in Charlotte.

Ellen Watson and Keith Psolka have joined Croghan’s Jewel Box in Charleston.

Watson is inventory manager. Previously, she was manager of investment properties at Southeastern Management Group. She has a bachelor’s degree in business from the College of Charleston.

Psolka is a jeweler. He has more than 15 years of experience.

Previously, he was with Marche Jewelers in Oaklyn, N.J.

Mark Condon has joined Datamyne as a business development manager. He has 18 years of international trade experience.

He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the College of Charleston.
