Doretta McHugh has joined CresCom Bank as a loan processor based in the West Ashley branch. Previously, she was a consumer loan officer and real estate underwriter at South State Bank. Also, Debra Drake and Lindsay Glaser have joined the bank as tellers based in the West Ashley and Cane Bay branches, respectively.

Jason Moore has joined Palmetto Pile Driving as vice pre- sident and general manager. He has more than 14 years of experience in the concrete manufacturing industry. He has a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel.

Dr. Todd Ashby has been named dean of the Charleston Southern University College of Science and Mathematics. Previously, he was chair of the mathematics department and associate dean of the College of Science and Mathematics. He has a bachelor’s degree and master’s in mathematics from Western Kentucky University and a doc- torate in mathematics from the University of Kentucky.

Courtnay Thompson has been named director of plan operations and administration at Select Health of South Carolina. Previously, she was director of clinical program analytics for AmeriHealth Caritas. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is a registered nurse.

J. Kirkland Grant has joined the Summerville office of Crant- ford Meehan as of counsel. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a law degree from its Law School. He is emeritus professor at Touro Law School and was a professor at the University of South Caro- lina School of Law. Previously, he was a professor at Charles- ton School of Law and dean of Delaware Law School.

Kayla Halberg has joined the Historic Charleston Foundation as philanthropy coordinator. Previously, she was with the Preservation Society of Charleston. She has a bachelor’s degree in history from the College of William and Mary and a master’s of public history from the University of South Carolina.

Jeffrey Colen and Michael R. Smith have joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Carolina Sun Real Estate as agents.

Christina Sineath has been named director of training and new business development of Southern Shores Real Estate Group. She is based in the Summerville office. She is founder and owner of Christina Ellis and Associates Realty and has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry.

Santania Tukes and Ann Newton have joined EXIT Realty Lowcountry Group in North Charleston as agents. Tukes has a background in military logistics. Newton worked in the health industry for more than 10 years.

Mary Beth Westmoreland has been named chief technology officer at Blackbaud Inc. Previously, she was senior vice president of product development for mass market solutions. She has a degree in mathematics and physics from Immaculata University.
