A downtown Charleston women’s clothing and accessories shop is adding a second location in Mount Pleasant.
Two Cumberland, on the second floor of 216 King St., will open by late spring in the new Bowman Place Shopping Center at Bowman Road and Johnnie Dodds Boulevard, according to Trey Lucy with commercial real estate firm Belk/Lucy.
The 2,300-square-foot shop will be between Designer Shoe Warehouse and the new J. Crew Mercantile, which will open in April. After upfitting the site, Lucy expects the shop to open in May.
The shop offers a variety of products from affordable and fashionable clothing to gifts, jewelry and home goods, according to its website.
Bowman Place, fashioned out of a former Kmart, opened last year. It currently includes Dick’s Sporting Goods, Nordstrom Rack, DSW and Kitchen & Company. A restaurant is slated for the corner behind the future J. Crew shop. Construction on two outparcels for new restaurants and retailers should begin in the summer, Lucy said.
