Boulevard Diner closes, to get new owner

The Boulevard Diner restaurant in Mount Pleasant closed Sunday.

After 16 years, a popular diner in Mount Pleasant is now closed and the property will soon have a new owner.

The Boulevard Diner at 409 W. Coleman Blvd. closed Friday and the property is expected to be sold Thursday, according to Andrea Parco of Dining With Sal restaurant group.

She did not want to divulge the new owner until the sale is completed.

Dining With Sal, owned and operated by Sal Parco and his wife, will continue to own The Mustard Seed, Long Point Grill and Village Bakery, all of which they plan to renovate by the spring, Andrea Parco said.
