HoM isn't just about burgers anymore. The Upper King Street ping-pong joint has updated its burger-heavy menu with lots of new choices, including several vegetarian options and a vegan-friendly sweet potato and black bean burger.
New starters include fried dill pickles (slices not spears thankfully) and spicy buffalo cauliflower with blue cheese, scallions and herb ranch sauce.
The HoM Wrecker burger remains a signature offering but they've changed up the cheese with Red Dragon, a cheddar blended with whole grain mustard that boosts the flavor profile to a whole other level.
If you're looking to lighten up with veggies, they've got a grilled vegetable and hummus wrap, a quinoa and black bean salad, kung pao brussels and a strawberry and goat cheese salad.
The cocktail menu has also been tweaked and includes a nutty twist on the Old-Fashioned. Maker's Mark gets infused with toasted walnut flavors and maple syrup mixed with orange and walnut bitters.
The tap beers are all local now, and tater tots can still be had. HoM is located at 563 King St. and is open daily 11 a.m.-1:30 a.m.
