Wednesday

• Bessinger’s Bar-B-Q will host its monthly Open Car, Truck & Motorcycle show 6-9 p.m. at the diner, 1602 Savannah Highway in Charleston. Registration is $5. There are three trophies per class. April 6

• Lowcountry Motor Club, an informal association of car and modding aficionados in the Charleston area, will meet weekly 10-11 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Pier, 71 Harry Hallman Blvd. Most of the cars are late model imports but anyone is welcome. • Mopar clubs weekly “Meet & Greet” will be 7-11 p.m. at Sonic Drive-in, 660 College Park Road in Goose Creek. Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, AMC and related cars and trucks are welcome. Other meets and greets this month will be April 13, 20 and 27.

April 7

• The annual Open Car and Truck Show hosted and sponsored by Ravenel Ford will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the dealership, 6340 Savannah Highway in Ravenel. The event, free for attendees, is organized by the Low Country Mustang Club.  Vehicle registration 10 a.m.-noon is $15. All makes, models and years are welcome. The show is noon-2 p.m., and there's food and music. Awards go to top 25 plus Best in Show and Sponsor's Choice. Proceeds benefit Camp Happy Days. The show will be held rain or shine. • Classic Car Show on the Square will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Memorial Plaza in Orangeburg. There will be music and vendors. Sponsors are Orangeburg Revitalization Association and Ford's Tire Pros.

• Lowcountry Muscle Car sponsors an Open Cruise-in “Mustang Night” 4:30-7 p.m. at Sonic Drive-in, 660 College Park Road in Goose Creek. The event is open to everyone. On the first Saturday of each month, the club hosts a “feature” night.

• Goose Creek Cars and Coffee, a free bimonthly cruise-in, will be 8-10 a.m. in the parking lot behind Bojangles on St. James Boulevard in Goose Creek. The event will be held the first and third Saturdays of the month. All special interest vehicles are welcome.

April 14

• Antique Automobile Club of America, Coastal Carolina region will hold its monthly Citadel Mall Car Show 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the mall parking lot west of the Ashley in Charleston. Registration is $10. April 21

• Corvette Show:Tthe 11th annual Vettes Doin Charleston all-Corvette show hosted by the Coastal Carolina Corvette Club will be 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Benefitfocus, 215 Benefitfocus Way on Daniel Island. The site is at Interstate 526 exit 24. Proceeds benefit Veterans Victory House in Walterboro and the National Corvette Museum. A Vendor Village is available for shopping and show sponsors displays. There will be 50-plus trophies in People’s Choice plus Scored Judging classes. Other awards are Best of Show, Best Engine Compartment, Best Paint and Best Interior trophies. • The annual Cars on Kiawah auto show will take place at Ocean Park on Kiawah Island. Around 300 cars covering a century of "automotive history and style" will be in attendance. Dennis Gage, host of "My Classic Car," will be filming an episode to air on the Velocity Network next year. Harvey Geiger, a nationally recognized auto history and car culture authority, will be master of ceremonies. Ally Financial is a presenting sponsor. The event is free for spectators; there's a $10 parking fee per car in a designated area adjacent to the show field. • Spring Spin-Off Car Show starts at 8 a.m. at Trident Technical College's Main Campus, 7000 Rivers Ave. in North Charleston. The annual event showcases cars, trucks and motorcycles. Proceeds benefit the W. Athell Yon Fund, presented yearly to three students who achieve the highest grade point average in the automotive technology associate degree program. Registration — $20 per entry — closes on April 20, when all classes are filled, or when the show reaches maximum capacity of 300 entries.
