Today

• Spring Spin-Off Car Show starts at 8 a.m. at Trident Technical College's Main Campus, 7000 Rivers Ave. in North Charleston. The annual event showcases cars, trucks and motorcycles. Proceeds benefit the W. Athell Yon Fund, presented yearly to three students who achieve the highest grade point average in the automotive technology associate degree program.

• A Cruise-In sponsored by Walterboro Cruisers will take place 6-8 p.m. at Hill Tire on Robertson Boulevard in Walterboro.

• The second annual All In Spring Shootout and Show will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at TCL New River Campus, 100 Community College Way in Bluffton. There will be a mobile dynamometer from VMP Tuning, food, and disc jockey MXM. Show your ride and prove your horsepower. Registration is $10, and it's $75 for two pulls on the dyno. • The 8th annual Socastee Heritage Festival Car Show will be 9 a.m.-4p.m. in Socastee. Registration is $20. There are more than 40 awards plus Best of Show car and truck and the Socastee Heritage Foundation choice. Hot Rod Promotions is the sponsor. Contact Roger at 843-503-8245.

• The 3rd annual Bill Sigler Memorial Car Show will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Christ the Servant Lutheran church, 2105 E. Highway 501 in Conway. Registration, at 9 a.m., is $15. Carolina Dream Cruisers is hosting the open show.

• Bishopville BBQ Block Party Car Show takes place 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at 102 N. Main Street in Bishopville. Greater Lee County Chamber of Commerce is the sponsor. The show is open to any type of car. Go to 803-484-6611.

• Charleston Cars & Coffee, a free weekly cruise-in, will be 8-11 a.m. in front of Atlanta Bread Co. at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre.

• The weekly, informal Porsche Club of America-Palmetto Region breakfast is 8-9:30 a.m. at Sunflower Cafe, 2366 Ashley River Road in Charleston.

Wednesday

• Bessinger’s Bar-B-Q host a monthly Open Car, Truck & Motorcycle show 6-9 p.m. at the diner, 1602 Savannah Highway. Registration is $5. There are three trophies per class. Categories include cars 1942 and earlier, ’43-’59, ’60-’71 and ’72-2018; street rods; trucks; and motorcycles. Music is provided by The Cruise-O-Matics. Contact Tom Jameson at 843-571-2264.

May 4

• Lowcountry Motor Club, an informal association of car and modding aficionados in the Charleston area, will meet weekly 10-11 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Pier, 71 Harry Hallman Blvd. Most of the cars are late model imports but anyone is welcome. • Mopar clubs weekly "Meet & Greet" will be 7-11 p.m. at Sonic Drive-in, 660 College Park Road in Goose Creek. Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, AMC and related cars and trucks are welcome. Other meet and greets this month will be May 11 18 and 25.

May 5

• Jammin the Creek - Spring Fling will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at American Legion Post 166. It’s located at 116 Howe Hall Road in Goose Creek. Autos, bikes and trucks are welcome. • Lil D's Car, Truck & Bike Show is 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Lil D’s Restaurant, 1513 Pamplico Highway in Florence. There are top 3 trophies in 26 classes and specialty awards for each class. Contact Davy at 843-621-1946.

• The Downtown Orangeburg Revitalization Association presents the 6th annual Classic Car Show on the Square 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the historic downtown square, 152 Market St. Registration, 9-11 a.m., is $20. Awards are presented at 2 p.m. Call 803-531-6186.

• Goose Creek Cars and Coffee, a free bimonthly cruise-in, will be 8-10 a.m. in the parking lot behind Bojangles on St. James Boulevard in Goose Creek. The event will be held the first and third Saturdays of the month. All special interest vehicles are welcome.

• Lowcountry Muscle Car sponsors an Open Cruise-in "Truck Night" 4:30-7 p.m. at Sonic Drive-in, 660 College Park Road in Goose Creek. The event is open to everyone. On the first Saturday of each month, the club hosts a "feature" night.

May 12

• Veterans Victory House will hold its 11th annual car show 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Veterans Victory House, 2461 Sidneys Road in Walterboro. The sponsor is Walterboro Cruisers.

• Palmetto Community Church May Fest will take place 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the church, 1965 Bees Ferry Road in Charleston. The open event includes a muscle car show, craft show and food trucks. Participants will receive a certificate and a gift. To display your car, email cgb7507@gmail.com.

May 16

• A car show will be held 6-8 p.m. at Dukes Barbecue, 49 Robertson Blvd., in Walterboro. The event is hosted by Walterboro Cruisers to benefit Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter (FOCCAS).

May 17

• Lowcountry Muscle Car will host Summerville Third Thursday Open Cruise-in 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Guerin's Pharmacy, 140 S. Main St. in Summerville. Guerin's reserves at least 10 spaces for auto clubs, first come first served. During the cruise-in, Little Main will become a pedestrian mall.

May 19

• Sea Islands Cars and Coffee will be held 9-11 a.m. at Freshfields Village, at the crossroads of Kiawah, Seabrook and Johns islands. The monthly cruise-in will feature antiques, classics, exotics, concepts and "any other cool cars." The event is free.
