- Coastal Carolina Corvette Club and Stall High School AFJROTC will host the Warrior Warm-Up 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Stall High, 3625 Ashley Phosphate Road in North Charleston. The car, truck and motorcycle show is free for spectators and open to the public. Registration, 9-11 a.m., is $20 per vehicle and $10 for students with a valid high school ID. Participant judging closes at 12:30 p.m. There will be 14 classes as well as awards for Best of Show, Best Paint, Best Engine and Best Rims. Trophies will be presented at the end of show. Proceeds benefit AFJROTC, helping them attend Cadet Officer Leadership School at The Citadel this summer. The event will be held rain or shine. There also will be a Latin Heritage Festival with food, music and games.

- Bessinger's Bar-B-Q will host an Open Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show 6-9 p.m. at the restaurant, 1602 Savannah Highway. Registration is $5. There will be three trophies per class. Categories consist of cars 1942 and earlier, '43-'59, '60-'71 and '72-2014; street rods, trucks and motorcycles. Music will be performed by The Cruise-O-Matics. - The first year anniversary of the I-95 Smokehouse Boyz/MC will be held from 6 p.m. "until" at Dorchester Dragway, 213 Delee Circle in Dorchester. Events include "Race What You Brung" with a $1,000 payout to the winner, and Gamblers' Showdown. Main attraction is Tony Wright, who is "calling out" anybody for a grudge race. Admission is $20; kids get in free. Registration is also free for a car, truck and motorcycle show to be held alongside the drag racing for cars and cycles. The event will be held in a safe atmosphere. Vendors are on site. From Interstate 26, take the Ridgeville exit, make a right on U.S. Highway 78 toward St. George, then take a left at the fork. - Low Country Mustang Club will host a Mustang-only Open Cruise-in 3-7 p.m. at Cracker Barrel, 7351 Mazyck Road in North Charleston. The restaurant is located off Interstate 26 at exit 209, Ashley Phosphate Road. Cracker Barrel is sponsoring the Mustang "roundup" car show. Awards for Best of Show and Top Three vehicles will be presented by Cracker Barrel management.

- Charleston Cars & Coffee will meet weekly 8-1l a.m., in front of Atlanta Bread Co. in Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. The cruise-in is free. Future cruise-ins this month will be April 12, 19 and 26.

- The Sumter Cruisers Car and Truck Show will be held in conjunction with the Striped Bass Festival in Manning. Car show registration, 9 a.m.- noon, is $20. Awards presentation will be 3 p.m. Categories include production cars through 1960, '61-'69, '70-'99 and 2000-present; production trucks through 1999 and 2000-present; modified trucks; street rods through 1948; modified cars 1949-'70, '71-'99 and 2000-present; rat rods; and special interest. - The 2014 Walterboro Wings-n-Wheels Auto and Airplane Show will be held 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Walterboro Low Country Regional Airport, 537 Aviation Way. Low Country Sport Aviation Inc. and Low Country Miata Club invite everyone to a family-friendly, fun-filled event showcasing more than 100 show cars and aircraft. This event is open to the public and provides the opportunity for young and old to view classic autos and planes, and talk with their owners. Admission is $10 per carload. All donations and a portion of the Wings-n-Wheels profits will go to the Wounded Warrior Project. Organizers want to have your "show car" here this year. There will be rods, muscle cars, custom cars and Miatas among others. "We think the car guys will enjoy seeing the vast array of aircraft and the pilots will enjoy the show cars." - Trident Technical College's Department of Automotive Technology will host the 22nd annual Spring Spin-Off Car Show 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on the college's main campus at 7000 Rivers Ave. in North Charleston behind Building 800. Pre-registration by April 14 is $20; event-day registration, which is $25, will take place 10-11:30 a.m. There is no rain date. In addition to the car show, there will be food, music and prizes. Athell Yon Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to Trident Tech students pursuing careers in automotive technology. The school offers an Automotive Technology associate degree that prepares students to become technicians and supervisors or managers. - The sea island Cars and Coffee, billed as a "fun monthly event celebrating special cars," will hold its inaugural drive-up 8-10 a.m. at Freshfields Village. Organizers are encouraging car enthusiasts to "arrive in your favorite ride," noting that the event will feature antiques, classics, exotics, concepts and any other cool cars. Freshfields Village, which will host Cars and Coffee, is at the crossroads of Kiawah, Seabrook and Johns islands. The event is free, and attendees can buy coffee and other refreshments at Java Java. - The Joint Base Charleston Armed Forces Day Car Show will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Short Stay Recreational Area in Moncks Corner. Trophies will be awarded in 26 classes.
