• Coastal Carolina Corvette Club will hold its monthly meeting at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church on Bees Ferry Road. Social time will be 2:30 p.m., with the meeting to start at 3 p.m.

• Charleston and Lowcountry Automotive Club Council will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at Sticky Fingers in Summerville.

• Bessinger’s Bar-B-Q will host its monthly Open Car, Truck and Motorcycle show 6-9 p.m. at the eatery, 1602 Savannah Highway. Registration is $5. There are three trophies per class. • The second yearly Hell Hole Swamp Car Show and Parade will be 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in Jamestown. The open car, truck and rat rod show and parade is part of the 45th Hell Hole Swamp Festival. There will be top five and rat rod People’s Choice trophies. Rat rods are extended a special invitation. The show site is located on S.C. Highway 45 just past the traffic light on the right. • The 14th annual VCCA (Vintage Chevrolet Club of America) Area 9 Southeast National Meet will be at the Omar Shrine Temple in Mount Pleasant. The national judged meet will be open to Chevrolets and GMCs only. To qualify for national awards, you must be a VCCA member. The meet judging will be finished May 13. There will be a photo shoot Saturday morning, a caravan tour from Omar Shrine Temple to downtown Charleston and back and an awards banquet Saturday night.
