With warmer weather on the way, American Biker will be holding a blood drive 10 a.m.-3 p.m. today at the 679 Treeland Drive shop in Ladson.
Donors will receive free food and prizes. Anyone interested can make an appointment by calling 843-641-0258, emailing email@example.com or visiting American Biker. According to the bike shop, each pint of blood saves three lives. All types of blood are needed.
Separately, American Biker is now leasing pre-owned Harley-Davidsons. On its website, the dealership explained that unusually strong sales of the new Indian motorcycles have left the outlet overstocked in older Harleys. Bikers can lease the used models at wholesale costs.
Hendrick Hyundai North has earned five stars for its skill at serving motorists, and not from just any old group.
The presenter turns out to be Edmunds.com, which describes itself as “the premier destination for car shopping.”
The Hendrick dealership on Rivers Avenue gained the honor as part of Edmunds.com’s third annual Five Star Dealer Awards program.
According to the online auto information site, the awards “recognize car dealers who earned the highest marks for customer satisfaction” in Edmunds.com’s dealer ratings and reviews.
“We at Edmunds.com believe in putting the customer first, and our ‘dealer partners’ embrace that same commitment to excellence,” said Avi Steinlauf, chief executive of Edmunds.com. “These dealerships’ dedication to making the car-buying process easy earned glowing reviews from their customers, and we congratulate them on a job well done.”
To be eligible, the “dealer partner” must hold an average customer review rating on the website of five stars, based on a minimum of 20 reviews during the previous two years as of Dec. 31, 2014.
