Arrest made in North Charleston murder

Authorities have announced the arrest of a suspect in the Tuesday murder of North Charleston resident Anthony T. Williams.

North Charleston Police along with U.S. Marshals located and arrested Trevor Hule Presley, 32.

Presley was arrested Wednesday night as he sat as a passenger in a vehicle outside an Ashley Phosphate Road convenience store. He was arrested without incident and is charged with murder and assault with intent to kill.

Presley is scheduled to appear in bond court at 2 p.m. today.

Williams was shot after he answered the door at his Pearson Avenue home. There was a conversation and then shots were fired, said Spencer Pryor, police public information officer.
