Your Waterfowl photos are eye-catching, now send us your best tracks and trails photos

By Chris Morrow: Blue Heron landing.

Y’all have been on a roll.

In the last month we’ve received more than 230 photo assignment entries from you, our readers, and each week has proven just how talented you are.

Your Lowcountry Waterfowl photos are amazing, with many different species from all over the Lowcountry.

It was another tough decision this week, but our editors chose Chris Morrow’s blue heron photo to run in Friday’s People section. Make sure you pick up a copy of the newspaper to read what they liked about it.

Next week’s assignment: Tracks and trails. It can be one or the other doesn’t have to be both. Just have fun with it.

The rules:

- Send just one (1) photograph to by noon on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Include your name, town and where the photo was taken. If you send us multiple photos we will select one randomly.

- We will allow photographs with reasonable watermarks to run in the gallery but for the winning photo that runs in the newspaper we must have a photo that does not have a watermark. If you want to send us one with the watermark (to run online) and one without (to possibly run in the newspaper) please feel free.
