74-year-old Eutawville woman killed in Berkeley County wreck that injured two others

A 74-year-old woman died and two others were injured in a wreck Monday afternoon in Berkeley County.

The wreck happened about 2 p.m. when a tractor-trailer traveling on County Line Road struck a car coming out of Addidas Street, Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury said.

The driver of the car, Florence Hall of Eutawville, was pronounced dead at the scene, Salisbury said. She was not wearing a seat belt, he said.

Authorities flew a passenger in the car to the Medical University Hospital. The driver of the tractor-trailer was also taken to a hospital. Both were wearing seat belts, Salisbury said.
