Wet and mild in Charleston today, freezing rain possible early Tuesday

Today’s wet but mild weather could turn into freezing rain by early tomorrow morning, according to the National Weather Service.

The chance of more rain today is 90 percent, mainly before noon, with a quarter inch possible, according to the weather service. The high should be 55.

Tonight’s low should be around 33, and there’s a 30 percent chance of more rain early tomorrow morning. A freezing rain advisory is in effect from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday.

There’s a 60 percent chance of more rain Tuesday afternoon, with another quarter inch or so expected. Tuesday’s high should be near 39 and the overnight low around 35.

There’s an 80 percent of more rain Wednesday, mainly after 1 p.m., with another half inch or so expected. The high should be near 51 and the overnight low around 39. There’s a 90 percent chance of more rain Wednesday night, mainly before 4 a.m., with up to an inch possible.
