U.S. Marshals on Friday arrested a man suspected of pointing a gun at another person in a dispute.

Katrell Jamaal Mitchell, 26, of West Ashley, was wanted by Charleston County sheriff’s deputies for one count of pointing and presenting a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent crime, arrest affidavits for the man stated.

He was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and a Charleston SWAT team at his home on East Estates Boulevard, Sheriff’s Maj. Eric Watson said.

Mitchell was identified as a suspect in connection with a reported assault Feb. 3 at a Dodge store, 3854 Savannah Highway.
