West Ashley High School was on emergency lockdown after a threat was called in Friday morning.
No threat was found, according to an announcement from the Charleston County School District. Classes continued as normal.
The call came in about 10:45 a.m., and police were notified to track it down.
At 3:45 p.m., the district sent out a notice saying it had been lifted.
“At no time was the safety of any person on campus compromised and school dismissed without incident,” the notice said.
