Goose Creek police are investigating a fatal stabbing that started as a domestic dispute.

Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury said Friday evening that Xiuying Wang, a 61-year-old woman, was found with multiple stab wounds.

Lt. William Schreurs said Goose Creek police had arrested 77-year-old Lester Chung at a Hunstman Drive home in the Foxborough subdivision. Charges had not yet been filed.

Police responded to a call from the house at about 4:30 p.m. and the suspect answered the door. Officers searched the home and found the woman’s body, Schreurs said.
