Two men shot in North Charleston trailer park

Two men were shot and wounded in a North Charleston trailer park Sunday night.

Officers were called to Dundrum Street in Dorchester Village Mobile Home Park around 8 p.m. The neighborhood is off Dorchester Road west of Interstate 526.

A man told officers he was going to the store on the street when he was shot, North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor said. Another man showed up at an emergency room with a gunshot wound and told officers he had been shot at the store.

The men’s wounds were not life-threatening, and neither had any information on who might have shot them, Pryor said.

Witnesses told officers they saw four men playing dice in the park by the store just before shots were fired, Pryor said. Both men who were shot told officers they were not involved in the dice game.

A woman who lives nearby on Brantford Street told police bullets hit her house twice.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
