Three wounded in drive-by shooting in North Charleston

Three people were wounded Tuesday night in a drive-by shooting in North Charleston.

The shots were fired around 10 p.m. on Charlene Drive near Louise Drive, according to North Charleston police. The area is north of Dorchester Road just west of Interstate 26.

Two of the victims were shot in the buttocks and drove themselves to a hospital, police spokesman Spencer Pryor said. The third was hit in the lower back and transported.

Police are investigating and had no suspects Wednesday, Spencer Pryor said.
