Three arrested in Summerville home invasion

Three Summerville men have been arrested after a home invasion earlier this month.

About 10:30 a.m. May 1, four masked men kicked in the front door of a house on Myrtle Street in the Robynwyn subdivision and shots were fired, witnesses told Summerville police. One man was wounded and taken to a hospital.

Police announced three arrests in the case Thursday.

Brandon McNeil Brown, 24, of Gardenia Street was charged with first-degree burglary, attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Damien Marquise Stokes, 19, of Shamrock Drive and Tyrell Jamar Miles, 20, of West Luke Avenue are charged with first-degree burglary. Stokes is the person who was shot, police Capt. Jon Rogers said.
