Three adults, one child displaced after Goose Creek duplex fire

Three adults and a child were displaced over the weekend after a Goose Creek duplex fire, according to the American Red Cross.

Volunteers with the organization responded Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning to the blaze on Peach Road. The Goose Creek Rural Fire Department extinguished the fire.

The Red Cross is providing the four residents with financial assistance for temporary lodging, food and clothing, along with comfort kits containing personal hygiene items. The organization is also providing referrals to partner agencies to help with their long-term recovery.
