Third suspect arrested after shots fired at house in Colleton County

The third suspect has been arrested after shots were fired at a house in Colleton County last week.

Around 11:45 p.m. April 7, Walterboro police officers saw people in a vehicle shooting at a house at 1014 Cairn St. and turned on their lights and siren, Officer Amy Stivender said. The vehicle fled with officers in pursuit and wrecked around U.S. Highway 17 and Green Pond Highway, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies with dogs spent 10 hours looking for three people who ran from the vehicle, Sgt. Kyle Strickland said. Joseph Manigault, 28, of Walterboro was apprehended in a swamp outside Donnelley Plantation that night.

Devin Brown, 21, of Magwood Bryant Road in Green Pond, was arrested Thursday.

Damien Tyres Robinson, 18, of Green Pond was arrested Friday at a house in Yemassee, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The charges against the three have not been specified.
