What: Celebrate National Tea Day in this free, family-friendly event and Guinness World Records book attempt. Residents of Summerville will set out to shatter the world record for World’s Largest Sweet Tea. With the help of local support from The Charleston Tea Plantation, Dixie Crystals, Scout Boats and KION North America, they will fill a 10-foot-tall mason jar with 1,400 gallons of locally brewed sweet tea. Food vendors will be on hand. Event will take place, rain or shine.
