What: The Slavery and Freedom Walking Tour will explore the capture in Africa, the Middle Passage, processing and sale at the docks in Charleston and the domestic trade up to 1865.

When: 1:30 p.m.

What: There will be a lecture and book signing by Stephen J. White, Sr. on his recently released book, “Patrick N. Lynch 1817-1882- Third Catholic Bishop of Charleston,” detailing the life of a prelate who also gained fame as a scientist, cultural leader, multi-lingual lecturer, and secret diplomat for the Confederacy.
