The weekend is full of Mardi Gras events for people and pets on Folly Beach and in Mount Pleasant.

What: The College of Charleston's Center for Creative Retirement will offer two lectures, the first is entitled, “Hinduism As I Understand It” by Shashi Pai, president with the Charleston Hindu Temple. The second lecture is entitled, “Price of Waging Losing Wars in the Early Roman Roman Principle: Why Dacia Matters” by Alvarro Ibarro, art history professor with the College of Charleston.
