What: Birding experts will help identify and count songbirds, birds of prey, wading birds and others found in the park’s diverse habitats. A registered and paid chaperone is required for participants ages 15 years and under.

What: To celebrate the 8th annual Hat Day in the Sun, The Headwear Association will be giving away free wide-brimmed sun-protection hats as part of a national public awareness campaign to educate people about protecting against skin cancer, sun damage and premature aging. Distributed while supplies last; hosted by The Hat Ladies of Charleston and Bollman Hat Company.
