What: The Afghan Rug Expo and Sale will feature handmade wool rugs woven by families in Afghanistan, presented by Rob Leahy, owner of Fine Rugs of Charleston. At 10:30 a.m., Leahy will give an explanation of the attraction of Afghan rugs and he’ll show a video of how the rugs are made in the villages of Afghanistan.

What: The Daniel Island Farmers Market features regional farmers and vendors with a variety of fresh produce, seafood and prepared foods, as well as artisan vendors with jewelry, crafts and more.
