What: College of Charleston Theatre Dept. presents “The Secret Garden,” a musical adaptation of the literary classic. “The Secret Garden” is a compelling story of love, healing and forgiveness.

What: The worlds of Oz and Wonderland collide in this fantastical play “Dorothy in Wonderland,” adapted from the works of L. Frank Baum and Lewis Carroll. Just as Dorothy is clicking her heels, another whirlwind appears, sweeping Dorothy and her friends away to Wonderland. In this strange new place, they meet Alice, who needs their help facing a dangerous foe: the Queen of Hearts.

What: The fourth annual South Atlantic Bank Oyster Roast & Chili Cook-Off will feature all-you-can-eat oysters from Sticky Fingers, chili from 15 cooks competing for 2016’s Best Chili award, craft beer from Holy City Brewery, Westbrook Brewing Co., Palmetto Brewery and Seanachai, hot dogs, kids’ activities, live music from The Stilettos and more. All proceeds benefit Florence Crittenton Programs.
