What: Walk through a maze of one thousand glass flowers at the Sen No Hana Flowers for Peace recycled art show. The flowers are created using glass and other objects, mirrored after the Japanese art of origami. The flowers will be on sale for $1, with proceeds going to build local Habitat for Humanity houses.

What: The De Gullah Roots Festival celebrates local Gullah culture. Enjoy a presentation by indigo artist Arianne King-Comer, listen to a panel discussion about the preservation of Gullah history with local historians and learn from a cooking demonstration by nationally recognized Gullah chef Bill Green. Attendees also will enjoy a folk art display, children’s activities and the opportunity to purchase Gullah crafts and food.

What: Kulture Klash, presented by Avita’s MedExpress Pharmacy, will return to the Lowcountry this spring. Kulture Klash 8 features Mix Master Mike, The Dubplates with MC Squared, Cousin Dan, and other DJs. Also part of the event are dancers, circus performers, a full bar with a craft beer garden, food trucks, visual artists, artwork for sale and a laser light show. All proceeds will benefit Lowcountry AIDS Services.
