FILE PHOTO/ WADE SPEES It’s Charleston Beer Week and members of the local brewing community (breweries and bars alike) have various events throughout town, including collaborations, tastings and more, from Summerville to West Ashley and North Charleston, and from Mount Pleasant to downtown Charleston.

What: The South Carolina Aquarium and Magnolia Plantation and Gardens are offering families an opportunity to visit both attractions with a $5 discount off the admission price.

When: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (aquarium); 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (Magnolia)

What: The Macedonia Rural Volunteer Fire Department Dive Team is having a fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings in Summerville. Head out and help support the new dive team and meet the volunteers helping to keep the waters safe in Berkeley County. 15% of all food purchases will be donated directly to the team.
