FILE PHOTO Charleston County Parks offers a walk through McLeod Plantation on James Island and Caw Caw Interpretive Center in Ravenel, with restorative yoga interspersed among the breaks, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at each location.

What: Yoga professionals lead participants along short walking loops, stopping intermittently to stretch, relax and practice restorative yoga to build strength, flexibility and balance.

What: GLAAD, the nation’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy organization working to accelerate acceptance, will host the exclusive premiere of its original documentary “ State of Change: South Carolina.” The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the cast, GLAAD president/CEO Sarah Kate Ellis and local LGBT advocates. The film shares the triumphs of LGBT South Carolinians and the unique hardships and discrimination they sometimes endure.
