File/Provided Storyteller Tim Lowry will perform tonight.

What: Timrod Library presents “Home Sweet Home: Stories of the American Family” from resident storyteller Tim Lowry. Lowry grew up in the hills of Kentucky and has traveled extensively across the American landscape. He says this performance is a homecoming of sorts with stories from his Appalachian childhood and by extension a celebration of American culture. Seating is limited and advance reservations are highly encouraged.

What: This second annual barbecue and wings festival will benefit Camp Happy Days and will feature a wings contest, local vendors and live music from Palmetto Storm Band on Friday night. Saturday’s events will feature the barbecue cook-off, live bluegrass music from the SouthRail Bluegrass Band and more.

What: This “Holidays in the Wine Cellar” event is also a seventh anniversary party and will feature premium wines for tasting, food, deals, holiday spirit and more.

What: Atlanta based artist, Danielle Willett-Rabin, will present “Ode to Color and Pattern,” an exhibit heavily influenced by Willett-Rabin’s musical interested. There will be live music by Scott Fedewa, and the gallery will be serving complimentary drinks.

What: Local theatre company, Musical Theater Center will perform “Into The Woods Jr.” The musical production is a youth version of Stephen Sondheim’s musical adaptation of the beloved Brothers Grimm Fairytales.
