Surveillance images released from January armed robbery in Hollywood

A surveillance photo from the Charleston County Sheriff's Office depicts two men wearing masks and gloves robbing a Family Dollar store in Hollywood.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify two men who held up a Family Dollar store in January.

Three surveillance images were released Wednesday. The robbery at the store at 6245 S.C. Highway 162 was reported about 7:50 p.m. Jan. 12. Clerks told deputies two men wearing masks and gloves came into the store. One of them brandished a gun and demanded they open the safe and cash drawer.

The men left with more than $1,300 in cash and two cartons of Newport cigarettes, according to the report.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
