A flood advisory is in effect for downtown Charleston until 10 a.m., because of the high tide around 9:30 a.m.
The outlook changes Friday, with a 100 percent chance of rain in the forecast, mainly after 9 a.m., with up to an inch possible. Friday’s high should be near 55. Another inch of rain could fall Friday night, with an overnight low around 55.
Showers are likely Saturday before 1 p.m. The weather service puts the chance of some light rain at 60 percent. The high should be near 57, with an overnight low around 39.
Sunday should be sunny again, with a high near 56 and an overnight low around 45.
