Summerville police searching for man missing since Sunday

Summerville police officers are searching for 23-year-old Larry Jackson whom they say has been missing since April 28.

Summerville police officers on Friday asked for help finding a man facing attempted murder charges who has been missing since Sunday.

Larry Jackson, 23, left home on Boone Street in the Brownsville community about 3 p.m., police Capt. Jon Rogers said. Jackson’s family and friends haven’t heard from him since, he said.

State Law Enforcement Division records show Jackson has five pending charges of attempted murder following an October arrest by Summerville police. He also has pending charges of kidnapping and third-degree criminal sexual conduct in Charleston County, SLED records show.

Anyone with information on Jackson can call the Summerville Police Department at 851-4100.
