Stall High School student hit by car

A Stall High School student was hit by a car in North Charleston on Monday morning.

The student was crossing Lackawanna Boulevard, but not in the crosswalk, when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle, North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor said. The student was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

No charges were immediately filed against the driver, and the incident remained under investigation.

The area is off East Montague Avenue west of Park Circle.

School district officials said the student attended Stall High School.
