Slight of chance of morning rain in Charleston, then cloudy and breezy

There’s a slight chance of some rain before 9 a.m. in Charleston, then cloudy and breezy later today, according to the National Weather Service.

The forecast puts the chance of some morning precipitation in Charleston at 20 percent. Rain was reported on the Isle of Palms. Clouds should clear up later today, with a high near 57 and a northwest wind between 10 and 16 mph. Tonight should be clear and cold, with a low around 31.

Saturday should be sunny, with a high near 53 and an overnight low around 37.

Partly sunny skies are expected Sunday, with a high near 62. There’s a 60 percent chance of rain after 8 p.m., with up to a quarter inch possible.

The chance of rain remains at 60 percent Monday, with a high near 57, according to the weather service.
