Sheriff’s Office seeks help identifying man who robbed a Johns Island Walgreens

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office released this image of a male suspect in the July 22 robbery of Walgreens, at 3621 Savannah Hwy.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office asked for help identifying a man who robbed a Walgreens on Johns Island July 22.

A man entered the store, at 3621 Savannah Highway, shortly before 8 p.m., handed a note to employees and demanded money, spokesman Maj. Jim Brady said.

The suspect was described as a white man about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing about 240 pounds.

The man wore a blue T-shirt with “Security” written across the chest, a baseball cap and sunglasses. No weapon was displayed during the robbery.
